WHOIS Lookup
Registration details — any TLD, up to 20 at once
Look up a domain’s registration — registrar, creation and expiry dates, status and nameservers — across virtually every TLD. Powered by modern RDAP with a WHOIS fallback, and you can check up to 20 domains at once.
How to read the results
- 1.Enter one domain, or paste up to 20 (one per line) to compare them in tabs.
- 2.The expiry date is colour-coded — green if comfortable, amber within 30 days, red if already expired — so lapsing domains jump out.
- 3.The source badge shows whether the data came from RDAP (structured, modern) or a WHOIS fallback for TLDs that lack RDAP.
Why it matters
WHOIS answers the basic questions about a domain — who registered it, how old it is, and when it expires, which matters for trust and for catching a lapse before it happens. Batch lookups make it easy to audit a whole portfolio at once.
Frequently asked questions
Which TLDs are supported?
Virtually all of them. We use the IANA RDAP bootstrap for every gTLD and many ccTLDs, and fall back to port-43 WHOIS for the rest, so coverage is comprehensive.
Why is contact info hidden?
Most registrars redact personal contact details for privacy (GDPR and WHOIS privacy services). Registrar, dates, status and nameservers remain public.
